What Makes a Monster?
The included pic you see is the userpic of the LiveJournal user shadowdrop. Changing the context of this creature completely changes my view of it.
If I saw this thing coming towards me in an alley I would most certainly shoot it.
Where is the line though between uncomfortable abnormality and monster? I don’t know anything about this creature, but my first instinct is to hurt it. If it said “wait for me!” like the amusing caption states I would change my actions.
I have nothing profound to report, I am just a little surprised at myself.
