This will mark me as an absinthe n00b, but I like many others was introduced to absinthe via the movie Moulin Rouge. No biggie, I believe that pop culture is an introduction to real culture, so I am not really ashamed.
This year we are honored by absinthe being legally available in the United States. This is due to a couple of factors that I won’t get into here, but if people are interested I will chat a bit about it. Otherwise go to Wikipedia at your leisure.
My plea to you is to go buy one of the two brands currently available. (Kubler or Lucid) That way we may be able to get the price down to under sixty a bottle.
