I turned on Inferno just to watch something comfortable and familiar as I am wrapping up my evening. Argento toned down the Bavaesque lighting for this movie and it feels less like an attack on the senses than Susperia did. In general I think it works.
The above scene is my favorite and the image is from a German lobby card. At this point in his career Argento was a master of creating and sustaining tension and the underwater scene displays this best. I have no idea what happened to the man, I mourn his loss.
